This site is a collection of static pages. It runs no user accounts, no comment system and no advertising network.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. The site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics scripts by default. The search on this site works entirely in your browser; your queries are not sent to us.
Hosting
The pages are served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested page, time, browser type) for security and capacity purposes for a limited period. We do not combine these logs with any other data.
Links to Amazon
When you follow a link to Amazon.co.uk, Amazon’s own privacy policy applies from that point. Our links carry an identifier that tells Amazon the visit came from this site, so that a commission can be attributed; it does not tell us who you are.
If you write to us, we keep your message for as long as it takes to deal with it and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up. We do not add correspondents to any mailing list.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you may ask what personal data we hold about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Write to the address on the contact page.
